Photograms are a unique art form that involves the placement of objects onto treated fabric or paper exposure to light creating a negative image.
In this workshop we will create unique prints on fabric with UV reactive dyes, transparencies and botanicals.
You will learn technical information about the dyes, how to prepare your fabric, mix your dyes, and process your work. We will explore using multiple layers and mixing our own colors.
We will explore various approaches to this process using different types of objects, substrates, and developing methods. Dress appropriately for potential dye splatter.
